Skin Boosters
Everything you need to know when you are considering skin boosting treatments

What are Skin Booster treatments?
Skin Boosters are injectable treatments designed to enhance skin quality from within. Unlike dermal that primarily restore shape and volume, skin boosters prioritize hydration, elasticity, and radiance. These involve microinjections of hyaluronic acid and/or bio-regenerative compounds like polynucleotides and amino acids to activate fibroblasts, promote collagen and elastin production, and revive skin glow. Notable brands include Skinvive, Sunekos, juran, and Profhilo. The process consists of small injections into the dermis with sessions typically taking around 30-45 minutes. Results usually emerge between 4 weeks and several months as the skin rejuvenates and rebuilds.
Who can have
Skin Booster treaments?
Skin boosters are suitable for adults who want to: Improve skin hydration, glow, and elasticity Reduce fine lines, crepiness, or dullness Enhance skin quality without changing facial structure Treat areas such as the face, neck, décolletage, or hands They are appropriate for most healthy adults who are not pregnant or breastfeeding.

Important before and after considerations.
Before treatment: Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil for 24 hours to reduce bruising risk. If you have an active skin infection (e.g., cold sores), treatment should be postponed. Plan ahead—multiple sessions are usually recommended for best results. After treatment: Mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection points are normal and usually resolve within 24–48 hours. Avoid makeup, exercise, and saunas for 24 hours. Avoid facials or skin treatments (microneedling, peels, laser) for at least 1–2 weeks. Results improve gradually over weeks as collagen and elastin are stimulated, with outcomes lasting 6–12 months depending on the product.
